For nearly two decades, Dr. George K. Myo has helped patients throughout Phoenix’s East Valley recover from injury, manage chronic pain, and get back to the life they love. As founder of Arizona State Orthopaedics in Chandler, Arizona, Dr. Myo and his team proudly serve patients in Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, and Sun Lakes.
Dr. Myo is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, with an additional certification in Surgery of the Hand. He trained at several of the nation’s top orthopaedic and hand surgery institutions before bringing his expertise to the East Valley, and he received his medical degree from the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
Dr. Myo’s areas of expertise include joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, sports medicine reconstructions, carpal tunnel surgery, and complex hand conditions such as trigger finger and ganglion cysts. He also treats arthritis, tennis elbow, and a wide range of soft tissue and bone injuries. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, using modern diagnostic tools to find the right path forward for each patient’s specific needs.
Beyond his own practice, Dr. Myo is recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and has been published in several leading medical and surgical journals. He serves as a consultant for Dignity Health and is a trusted peer reviewer for orthopaedic and hand surgeons across Arizona and nationwide. Dr. Myo is also a part-time staff member of the orthopaedic and hand surgery team at the VA of Phoenix, where he’s proud to serve the veterans of our armed forces.
