Meet the Surgeons and Staff at Arizona State Orthopaedics
Dr. George K. Myo, M.D.
Dr. Myo is board certified in othopaedics and hand surgery and has been practicing the East Valley of Phoenix for almost a decade. He was born overseas in SE Asia in the country of Burma. He moved with his family to the U.S. at age 9. He attended medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago and trained in orthopaedics and hand surgery in Indiana, New York City and California. Dr. Myo is also proud to serve on the orthopaedics and hand surgery staff at the Phoenix VA.
Mika Hakkarainen, PA-C
Arizona State Orthopaedics is pleased to welcome to Captain (Ret.) Mika Hakkarainen PA-C. Mika comes to our practice after a 20+ year history in the US Army both in medical and non medical roles. He has been deployed on multiple occasions and has experience in military and civilian medicine and surgery.
Linda is the office manager at Arizona State Orthopaedics. Linda has been working in physician’s and surgeon’s office for many years.
Alice is the X ray technician at Arizona State Orthopaedics and also handles many patient calls. She is originally from Iowa.
Neil is Dr. Myo’s medical assistant and deals with most of the communication between Dr. Myo and the patients. He also serves as the surgery scheduler for Dr. Myo.
April is the medical biller and collector for the office. Please ask for her when calling the office for billing questions. April is originally from upstate NY.
Nellie is the primary front office assistant for the practice. She controls the TV in the waiting area so I hope you like Blue Bloods and Frasier.
Jackie is a medical assistant in the office and handles many of the calls also.
